About: Blogger is a free service offered by Google that lets anyone create their own class blog which learners and parents can then read any time they want to.

Class blogs are a great way of keeping parents up to date with what is going n in class.  For KS2 and Secondary pupils they can also be used BY pupils to write up their own thoughts and ideas about the topics you are teaching them.  Thy are a great way of combining several subjects into one coherent lesson, such as Computing, English and whatever subject the pupil is writing about.
